As pasaxes múltiples: apuntamentos sobre as relacións de investigación da Galiza co espazo Iberoamericano

The intersection between the two areas that this collective work calls “Ibero-American World”, the Portuguese-speaking and Spanish-speaking world, was one of the principles that guided the development of significant lines and research programs within the framework of the University of Santiago de Compostela, USC, in close collaboration with the Galician Association of Researchers and Researchers of Communication, AGACOM, which, founded in 2001, I had the honor of presiding over its first 15 years. The idea that animated us from the beginning derived from the ideologema “a single world, multiple spaces” at the same time as the recognition of what the NOMIC meant for the construction of another way of thinking about communication, which had materialized in that work of reference “One world, multiple voices”, a seminal text for the generation of the eighties. So, and before entering into what meant for Galicia the choice of the Lusophone space as a communicational scenario and, specifically, the 20 years of research relationship with Brazil, I would like to share some moments of interest and, at the same time, the debt of our position, theoretical and methodological, with the contributions of Cultural Studies and its variations.
