Such is the purpose of this book: to approach critically, from the vast theoretical corpus of psychoanalysis, understood as a discipline that inquires precisely into the subject in its radical singularity, the filmic fact and the dimension of the virtual, the spearhead of the latest and forthcoming metamorphoses of audiovisual communication. Thus, the present volume aims to offer a heterogeneous overview of the complex relationships of modern subjects with various types of screens and audiovisual texts.
