The VII International Congress of the AE-IC is postponed to October

The registration period for attendees with or without a presentation is also extended

The VII International Conference of the Spanish Association for Communication Research (AE-IC) will be held at the Faculty of Philology, Translation and Communication of the University of Valencia, from October 28 to 30, 2020 and all its contents will be available online.  Thus,  the association and the University of Valencia seek to guarantee compliance with the preventive measures required by the health authorities and offer all participants the possibility of attending the event in person or enjoying online content.

The official opening and closing sessions and tributes to the research career of leading figures on Communication Studios such as Néstor García Canclini, Margarita Ledo Andión and Ramón Zallo will be offered in live and streaming. Plenaries and seminars, special sessions and communications will have exclusive access for those registered in the congress for a period of one month, at the end of which they will become accessible to the AEIC members in their space on the web. Virtual presentation modalities – prerecorded or simultaneous – of the papers and communications will be enabled for those authors who wish to do so, with participation channels and comments for the registered people interested in each session, in accordance with action protocols that will be available in the web of the Conference.

The registration period is extended until October 21 and maintains the published rates and modalities. Registration for attendees without communication will entitle them to priority access to the previous materials of the Congress and to attendance and active face-to-face or virtual participation in all its sessions, as well as the right to a participation certificate.
