The Research Project on the post-war Spanish Cinema will participate with a thematic table in VI Congreso Internacional Latina de Comunicación Social
At the beginning of December will be held in Tenerife the VI Congreso Internacional Latina de Comunicación Social, organized by Sociedad Latina de Comunicación Social and Universidad de La Laguna.
Within the activities of Congress, Friday 5 will develop a thematic table linked to the Research Project Towards a reconsideration of post-war culture: analysis of the Modes of Representation in Spanish cinema (1939-1962) from Wenceslao Fernández Flórez’s mark (CSO2012-34648, Plan Nacional de I+D+i 2013-2015, Mineco – Gobierno de España), in which several researchers will analyze the importance of literature in the configuration of own expressive forms in the post-war Spanish Cinema.
It is the Table of Discussion 625, entitled Literatura y cine popular después de la Guerra Civil española (1939-1962). It will be moderated by the Principal Researcher José Luis Castro de Paz (Universidade de Santiago de Compostela) and also members of the Team, Santos Zunzunegui and Carmen Arocena (Universidad del País Vasco).
Like what happened with the issue of the magazine L’Atalante, is intended to involve several members of the Project, but the Congress is open to those who wish to collaborate with communications on aspects linked to the investigation. The deadline for the submission of proposals ends on October 31, and the complete texts can be sent until 15 November.
