The Faculty of Philology organizes the 5th Mazarelos Literary Award

The Commission of Linguistic Normalization seeks to encourage creativity and expression in Galician language

The Commission of Linguistic Normalization of the Faculty of Philology organizes the 5th edition of the “Mazarelos” Literary Award, aimed to promote creativity among young university people and develop their expression capacity in Galician language, as well as to contribute to find potential names of the literature in our language.

Undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD students can participate if they are registered in the USC in any moment of the year 2019 before the deadline, 27th of September of 2019. Each participant can only submit one work of any literary gender or thematic, original, written in Galician language and unpublished, until a maximum of 9.000 words.

A jury will decide and deliver the prizes of the contest, provided of a economic amount of 700, 400 and 200 euros and a honorary diploma.
