The 8th edition of “Somos a Curta! Cinema do real” arrives
The award is aimed to the promotion of Galician languge in the audiovisual among the students
The Commission of Linguistic Normalisation of the Faculty of Communication Sciences of the USC calls for the eighth edition of the prize Somos a curta!, that rewards the best audiovisual short in Galcian language of cinema of the real presented by any member(s) of the student body of the three Galician universities, of the official schools of Image and Sound and of the artistic A levels in any of the centers of secondary education of Galicia.
The prize is aimed to promote the use of Galician language as vehicle for creativity and the analysis of Galician reality trhough audiovisual media. Moreover, it seeks to recognize linguistic, technical and artistic of the student body in Galicia.
The deadline for proposals is the 11th of October of 2019. The submission can be made through Office365 or WeTransfer platforms, as well as via DVD.
A jury will decide and give the prizes of the contest, which will be two awards of 500 and 250 euros and a diploma. There will be also an audience award, with an honorific diploma, that will be given in an event celebrated in the Faculty of Communication Sciences the 6th of November of 2019 and in which the participant pieces will be exhibited.
