
Invitation to the press conference on the European audiovisual directive
Tomorrow, Wednesday 10th May, at 11 a.m. in classroom 5 of the Faculty of Communication Sciences.
The European Parliament’s report on the transposition of the European Audiovisual Directive has just approved two amendments on which the GEA worked together with the Iniciativa Galega polo Audiovisual.
A press conference will be held tomorrow, Wednesday 10th May, at 11am in classroom 5 of the Faculty of Communication Sciences in Santiago to explain these amendments, which concern the promotion of subtitling in territorial languages and the improvement of the dissemination of audiovisual works in minority languages.
The members of the Initiative for the Galician Audiovisual Initiative (A Mesa, Agapi, AGAG, etc.) will participate in this press conference and will be joined by MEPs Kinga Gál (European People’s Party/ Co-President of the Languages Intergroup) and Ana Miranda (BNG- ALE) by video conference.

The film Morlaix will be screened in the auditorium of the Faculty of Communication Sciences of the University of Santiago de Compostela on Tuesday, February 4, at 11 am.
