The film criticism magazine A Cuarta Parede organizes the first edition of the Experimental Criticism Seminar within the framework of the ninth edition of the (S8) Mostra de Cinema Periférico. This experience, a pioneer in Galicia and the spanish state, wants to focus on the freer expression of cinema that, at times, challenges the viewer’s understanding.
The speakers of this first edition will be Mónica Delgado, director of the magazine Desistfilm, Paco Algarín, of the magazine Lumière, and the critic and filmmaker Alberte Pagán. The theoretical sessions of these speakers are complemented by the different masterclasses organized by the festival, which include those of the filmmaker María Ruido and the directors Ernie Gehr and Fried Vom Gröller .
