Interview with Julio Diamante on a DVD of The Research Project on the Post-war Spanish Cinema

Vía Láctea Editorial acaba de editar o DVD Los que no fuimos a la guerra, de Wenceslao Fernández Flórez: de la novela al film. Entrevista con Julio Diamante, vinculado ao Proxecto de Investigación Cara unha reconsideración da cultura posbélica: análise dos modos de representación no cinema español (1939-1962) a partir da impronta de Wenceslao Fernández Flórez (CSO2012-34648. Mineco – Goberno de España), co apoio da Fundación Wenceslao Fernández Flórez.
Trátase dunha extensa e fecunda entrevista co cineasta Julio Diamante, realizada en Bilbao no mes de decembro do pasado por José Luis Castro de Paz –Investigador Principal do Proxecto–, Santos Zunzunegui –membro do Equipo de Traballo– e Íñigo Larrauri –autor dunha recente tese de doutoramento sobre a obra de Diamante– na que ao longo duns setenta minutos o director ofrece importantes reflexións sobre a súa traxectoria cinematográfica, centrándose especialmente na súa destacada película Los que no fuimos a la guerra (1961), adaptación da novela homónima de Wenceslao Fernández Flórez.
Xunto á entrevista, preséntase no DVD unha filmografía completa do director, incluíndo fichas técnicas e información dos seus proxectos non realizados.
