INTERSECTION LAB – Festival of contemporary film and audiovisual arts
Open Call for Intersección Lab - Until June 29th
INTERSECTION LAB is a space to promote the creation of audiovisual projects with the aim of contributing to the construction of a quality film sector. In it, artists will be able to work and grow their works alongside internationally renowned professionals.
It is made up of four work spaces that will take place between 16 October and 15 November.
- 1to1: a space for individual express tutorials with film and art professionals for audiovisual projects in development.
- BASE: intensive tutoring space for audiovisual projects in development where 3 projects will be selected to work through collective dynamics with the activity tutor and invited professionals. Each of the selected projects will receive a €500 grant.
- FINAL CUT: space for audiovisual projects with advanced editing. Between 3 and 8 projects will be selected, which will receive an editing consultancy and will be presented in a pitching session in front of a professional film and art jury, who will award a prize of €6000.
- RESIDENCE: a space that includes three residency grants that will allow 3 filmmakers from all over Spain to travel to A Coruña for 1 month to work intensively on their projects, accompanied by professional monitoring and advice. The three resident artists will have all expenses included and a financial endowment, as well as access to facilities provided by the festival.
Once again this year, “When They Say No” will take place, an activity where the difficulties and fears that arise when presenting projects to different calls for proposals will be debated. In addition to the participants in the laboratory, all those who have applied but have not been selected will be invited to attend.
To register for any of the four spaces, all you need to do is fill in the online registration form.
