Call for papers for issue no. 8 of Cinema & Territory is now open, on the theme of (auto)biographical documentaries
The journal Cinema & Territory (C&T) is an international, annual scientific publication of art and anthropology of images of the Universidade da Madeira (UMa).
C&T is open to proposals for publication from researchers inside and outside UMa, in the fields of arts and film studies, visual anthropology and images, and other scientific areas that address or intersect with the above-mentioned themes. Proposals for publication will be subject to scientific review according to the open peer review model.
The journal is also open to publish works in various formats such as essays, interviews and critical reviews, images and films that meet the thematic and quality parameters established by the Scientific Commission.
The submission, editing and publication of texts, images and videos is free of charge. The C&T journal offers free and immediate access to its content, following the principle that the free availability of scientific knowledge to the public provides a greater global democratisation of scientific knowledge.
