On 10 October was held in Lyon the Congress Wenceslao Fernández Flórez: Cinéma et Littérature, linked to the Research Project Towards a reconsideration of post-war culture: analysis of the Modes of Representation in Spanish cinema (1939-1962) from Wenceslao Fernández Flórez’s mark (CSO2012-34648, Plan Nacional de I+D+i 2013-2015, Mineco – Gobierno de España).
The Group Estudos Audiovisuais he became so involved in a scientific meeting in which relevant researchers pondered the relationship between Wenceslao Fernández Flórez and Spanish cinema. The day concluded with great success of participation.
In addition, during the course of the day, the Professor José Luis Castro de Paz announced the discovery of a unpublished screenplay about Volvoreta, written by Francisco Regueiro and that was going to be filmed in 1966 with production of Cesáreo González. The Project’s Research Team will now begin a detailed analysis to be presented at upcoming meetings.
