VII Lusocom Congress

Santiago de Compostela hosted the seventh edition of the International Conference on Lusophone Communication (LUSOCOM, in the School of Communication, Arts and Information Technology of the Lusophone University, in Lisbon.) This VII International Congress of Lusophone Communication dealt with the space of the Lusophone in the world and issues related to communication, culture and citizenship or visibility, identity strategies and democracy The thematic sessions were structured by means: press, radio, television, photography and cinema, internet and multimedia. The former editions of Lusocom were held in Maputo (Mozambique) in 2002 and in Covilhá (Portugal) in 2000, with an important participation of Galician researchers.
