Análise de contido, tratamento e estética, e de linguaxe dos informativos de radio e televisión

Within the framework of a research project of the Group of Audiovisual Studies of the Department of Communication Sciences of the USC, a system of audiovisual information expenditure has been designed with the objective of carrying out a periodic follow-up of the news of the radio stations. and television in Galicia with higher ratings and regional coverage (TVG, TVE-Galicia, RG, RNE-1, COPE, SER, Onda Cero, Radio Voz and Punto Radio). This online access database has been prepared based on an analysis form in which, from the quantitative and qualitative point of view, parameters such as the hierarchy and information structure, the thematic breakdown, geographical scope (origin of the information), nature and diversity of sources, among others. The main purpose of this research, which has analyzed more than 20 thousand news and more than 30 thousand sources, is to obtain a complete radiography of the information reality. This corpus is susceptible to numerous applications for obtaining results based on complementarity and interrelatedness, and allows drawing conclusions about the informative, aesthetic and language treatment of audiovisual information in Galicia.
